May 16 daytime update

• 6:30AM - Maureen is sleeping.

• 7:10AM - No change

• 8:30AM - Still sleeping

• Maureen began her day @ 8:45AM. She is in good form this morning. Congestion is minimal. The diaper is medium wet. Click/tap here to view a detailed overview of the process Maya and I use to get Maureen ready for the day.

• That's New> We noted Maureen has a small Band-Aid on the tip of her right index finger.

• Breakfast service began @ 9:23AM. Posture in the geri chair is very good. Maureen is tilting a bit to the left. We used the two wedge pillows to straighten her posture. Click/tap here for detailed overview of the entire breakfast service process Maya and I use each day.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

• General observations @ 10:05AM> Breakfast went pretty well. Engagement, communication and responsiveness are all good. Maureen did cough five times and sneeze three times during breakfast. That being said, congestion was not heavy. Maureen's eyes were wide open during breakfast. She did not nod off.

• 10:05AM - Morning oral care

• 10:15AM - Eyelash cleaning and eye drops

• 10:18AM - We tilted the geri chair back one level for Maureen's comfort and to relieve stress on her back.

• 10:22AM - Morning facial treatment

• 10:35AM - Maureen's congestion increased a bit out of the blue. We decided to administer a dose of Flonase into both nostrils.

• 10:54AM - Organic fruit smoothie

• 11:11AM - We took Maureen to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. Diaper was medium wet. Upon completion of a clean & change, Maya and I placed Maureen on her right side.

• 11:24AM - Rest Break #1 begins

• 12:38PM - Rest Break #1 ends. Diaper is light wet. Maya and I complete a clean & change. We then headed to the kitchen for lunch.

• 12:53PM - Lunch | 1/2 a tuna salad sandwich on toasted sourdough bread, 1/2 a bowl of homemade mushroom soup and a good size serving of slice tomato. Maureen will drink one 12-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water during the lunch service.

• General observations @ 1:29PM> Lunch was a bit rough today. Maureen got fairly congested pretty much out of the blue. Her energy dropped off significantly as well. Eyes were slightly closed during lunch. Maureen coughed seven times during the lunch service.

• 1:45PM - Afternoon oral care

• 2:13PM - It was off to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #2. Diaper is light wet. After completing a clean & change, we placed Maureen on her right side. She will spend the last half of this break on her back.

• 3:06PM - Rest Break #2 ends. Diaper is light wet. After completing a clean & change, Maya and I transported Maureen to the front room for the remainder of the afternoon.
