This post provides a detailed overview of what Maya and I do for breakfast each day during the week. I created it to avoid typing essentially the same content each day in the daily daytime update

  1. We position Maureen at the kitchen table to ensure she is comfortable and sitting as upright as possible.

  2. Give Maureen one teaspoon of Manuka Honey followed immediately by the administration of the thyroid pill with a smattering of applesauce.

  3. Standard menu consists of the following elements: 4 ounces of prune juice, one banana sliced in very small pieces and a bowl of oatmeal.

  4. Maureen will consume four ounces of prune juice each morning. Any amount great than four ounces will be due to a lack of bowel activity. Deviations from the standard four ounces will be described in the specific daytime daily update.

  5. As breakfast service concludes each morning, Maya will administer the blood pressure medication. As of approximately April 1, 2022, Maureen has taken a daily dose of Claritin to help reduce the impact of her allergies.
