  • 6:30AM - Maureen is sleeping.

  • Maureen began her day @ 8:05AM. She is alert and engaged. Congestion is minimal. The diaper is light wet. Maureen also had a small soft bowel movement. Click/tap here to view a detailed overview of the process Djon and I use to get Maureen ready for the day.

  • 8:34AM - Djon gave Maureen a dose of Flonase in each nostril.

  • Breakfast service began @ 8:35AM. Posture in the geri chair is almost perfect. We used the two green wedge pillows and the red couch pillow to set Maureen up perfectly. Click/tap here for detailed overview of the entire breakfast service process Djon and I use each day.

  • Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

  • Due to a lack of bowel movement activity, we will give Maureen a total of 6 ounces of prune juice—two ounces more than normal.

  • 9:26AM - Morning oral care routine

  • 9:32AM - Djon tiled the geri chair back one level of Maureen's general comfort and to relieve stress off of her lower back.

  • 9:34AM - Eyelash cleaning and eye drops

  • 9:36AM - Morning fascial including hands and arms

  • 9:43AM - Morning exercises

  • General observations @ 10:24AM> Breakfast went well this morning. Maureen was engaged and communicative. Her overall energy was good. She did not nod off for any sustained period of time. Coughing was not an issue—only four times. It was a good way to get the day started.

  • 10:30AM - Organic fruit smoothie

  • 11:01AM - We headed to the bedroom for Rest Break #1. Diaper was medium wet. Maureen had a very small soft bowel movement. After completing a clean & change, Djon and I placed Maureen on her right side.

  • 11:16AM - Rest Break #1 begins.

  • 12:17PM - Rest Break #1 concludes. Diaper is medium wet. After completing a clean & change, Djon and I transported Maureen to the kitchen for lunch.

  • 12:31PM - Lunch | 1/2 a gilled chicken branch, 1/2 a bowl of homemade chicken and pea soup and small servings of mango salad, potato salad and grilled portobello mushrooms. Maureen will consume one 12-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water.

  • General observations @ 1:24PM> Lunch did not go well. Maureen started coughing immediately. Djon immediately slowed down the pace and reduced portion sizes. In the end, Maureen ate about 75% of her food. She coughed nine times. Her energy dissipated throughout the afternoon. Maureen became very lethargic. Her eyes were barely open during the latter part of the lunch service. She also emitted the low moan/groan throughout most of lunch.

  • 1:30PM - Afternoon oral care | Maureen's upper right gum in the "problem tooth" area began to bleed while Djon was using the wire tooth pick/brush.

  • 2:04PM - It was time to prepare for Rest Break #2. Diaper was medium wet. Maureen had a very small soft bowel movement. After Djon and I completed a clean & change, we placed Maureen on her left side.

  • 2:18PM - Rest Break #2 begins.

  • 3:05PM - Rest Break #2 ends. Diaper was dry. We dressed Maureen and headed to the front room for the remainder of the day.

  • 3:25PM - Fruit snack
