April 19 daytime update

• 6:30AM - Maureen is going in and out of sleep.

• 6:40AM - Maya checked the diaper. It is wet.

• Maureen began her day @ 8:05AM. She is in good form. Diaper is medium wet. Congestion is somewhat heavily. Maya and I went through our normal routine to get Maureen ready for the day. Click/tap here to view it.

• We examined the red/irritated area on Maureen's posterior. It is now completely healed and will no longer be addressed in our posts.

• Breakfast service commenced at 8:39AM. Posture in geri chair is good. Maureen is sitting almost completely upright with the assistance of both green wedge pillows and Magic Mike. Click/tap here to view a detailed overview of all the steps of our breakfast routine.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

• General observations @9:07AM> The day got off to a very good start. Maureen has good energy which in turn puts engagement, communication and general responsiveness at a high level. Chewing and swallowing has gone well—three coughs to this point. Maureen has her eyes wide open.

• 9:36AM - Morning oral care routine

• 9:50AM - Morning facial routine—including hands and arms

• 9:56AM - Maya and I tilted the geri chair back one notch for Maureen's comfort and to relieve stress/pressure from her sacrum.

• 10:10AM - Hand, arm, shoulder and leg exercises

• 10:30AM - Organic fruit smoothie

• 11:01AM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. Diaper was light wet. After completing a clean & change, we placed Maureen on her right side.

• 11:14AM - Rest Break #1 begins

• 12:32PM - Rest Break # 1 concludes. Diaper is medium wet. Maya and I performed a clean & change. We then transported Maureen to kitchen for lunch.

• 12:48PM - Lunch | 1/2 a turkey and Swiss cheese sandwich on lightly toasted whole wheat bread, 1/2 a bowl of homemade cabbage soup and a serving of potato salad. Maureen will consume one 12-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water. For dessert, Maureen will enjoy a small serving of rice pudding.

• 1:40PM - Afternoon oral care

• 2:12PM - We took Maureen to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #2. Diaper was light wet. Maya and I cleansed and changed her. We then placed Maureen on he right side. She will also spend 1/2 of this abbreviated rest break on her back.

• 2:23PM - Rest Break #2 begins.

• 3:03PM - Rest Break #2 ends. Diaper is light wet. We performed a clean & change and then transported her to the front room for TPIR, LMAD, FF and a panoply of other fine television programming.

• 3:23PM - Afternoon fruit snack
