  • 6:30AM - Maureen is sleeping.

  • 7:00AM - Maureen continues to sleep.

  • 7:10AM - Maureen is starting to stir a bit.

  • Maureen began her day @ 8:05AM. She is in good form. Diaper is medium wet. Congestion is light. Maya and I went through our normal routine to get Maureen ready for the day. Click/tap here to view it.

  • We took a close look at the red/irritated area on Maureen's posterior. It is almost completely healed at this point.

  • Breakfast service commenced at 8:39AM. Posture in geri chair is very good. Maureen is sitting almost completely upright with the assistance of only two green wedge pillows. Click/tap here to view a detailed overview of all the steps of our breakfast routine.

  • Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

  • We will give Maureen a little more than 6 ounces of prune juice because it has been more than 2.75 days since she had a bowel movement.

  • General observations @ 9:37AM> Maureen is in good form. Energy, engagement, communication and responsiveness are all positive. Coughing was very minimal during breakfast—only 2. As of the writing of this update, her energy is starting to fade.

  • 9:40AM - Morning oral care routine

  • 9:45AM - Maya and I tilted the geri chair back one notch for Maureen's comfort and to relieve stress/pressure off of her sacrum.

  • 9:50AM - Eyelash cleaning and eye drops

  • 10:00AM - Hand, arm, shoulder and leg exercises

  • 10:32AM - Organic fruit smoothie

  • 11:02AM - We headed to the bedroom for Rest Break #1. As we began the clean & change process, Maureen urinated on the diaper. A small amount of urine made it to the pad. Maureen also had a medium formed bowel movement. We cleaned her, put on a fresh diaper and replaced the pad. We also noted that there was a fair amount of redness along the waistline. Maya cleaned the entire waistline with Aloe Vesta Cleansing Foam, a warmed wipe and a soft washcloth. We then placed Maureen on her right side.

  • 11:23AM - Rest Break #1 begins.

  • 12:30PM - Rest Break #1 ends. Diaper was dry.

  • 12:47PM - Lunch | 1/2 a ham and cheese sandwich on lightly toasted whole wheat bread, 1/2 a bowl of cabbage soul and a serving of asparagus. Maureen will consume 1 12-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water. For dessert, she will have a small serving of tapioca pudding.

  • 1:31PM - Afternoon oral care.

  • 2:21PM - We transported Maureen to the bedroom for Rest Break #2. Diaper was medium wet. As we were cleaning, Maureen had an extra large soft bowel movement. She also urinated on the pad. Maya and I performed a complete clean & change and replaced the soiled pad. We then placed Maureen on her right side.

  • 2:33PM - Rest Break #2 begins

  • 3:20PM - Rest Break #2 ends. Diaper was dry. We dressed Maureen and headed to the front room.

  • 3:33PM - Afternoon fruit snack
