Tuesday April 14, 2026 Daytime Update

9:40 AM - Maureen's on her left side, already awake. No signs of pain or any distress.

9:50AM- We placed Maureen in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with purée pear and she drink 6 oz of thickened cold water


Giving her Neb treatment with albuterol.


10:10AM -Morning care. Wash her upper extremities with warm purple wipes . We Shampoo her hair today.  Diaper was dry, Cleaned and changed her. Applied Sureprep barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on posterior and inner thighs. We dressed her and moved to the front room.


10:50AM-Administered 10mg of Loratadine with purée pear and 20ml cough syrup (Geri-Tussin)with purée pear.

Breakfast - scrambled egg with tomatoes and onions and kiwi, finished 8 oz thickened prune juice  with Miralax. Maureen ate well. Coughed once suction


11:20AM - Oral care.

11:40AM - Facial and hand care routine

11:50- Maureen closed her eyes for a nap.



1:15PM - Maureen took 10oz of thickened lemon water and had melon for as fruit snack. Coughed once. Suction.


2:15PM - We transferred her to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we  cleaned and changed,we position her to face the right side.


3:15PM- Rest break ended already. Diaper was dry. We dressed Maureen and moved to the front room.


3:35PM - Maureen had 10oz of thickened coconut water. Coughed once

4pm- Neb treatment with albuterol


4:10PM- diaper checked , was cleaned and dry.

4:30PM - Dinner - chicken tacos with avocado cup. Maureen finished her food and enjoyed eating. She finished 10oz thickened sparkling water.


5:15PM- Administered 5mg of Olanzapine 12.5ml Vimpat and cough syrup 20ml (Gerri-Tussin) all with purée pear.


5:25 PM - Oral care.

Fluid intake: 44oz


5:45 PM - We transferred to the bedroom because Maureen was gassy. Diane and I performed a clean and change, from an extra large BM and heavy wet diaper. After Maureen was totally clean, Cavilon lotion was applied to the appropriate areas and a fresh diaper was put on. Now lying on her left side and propped up with the wedge pillows, her vitals were taken … temperature was 96.7°

Blood/oxygen was 96%

Pulse was 87 bpm

Friday April 10th Daytime Summary

-9:30am Maureen is asleep. -10:00am Maureen is awake, we put her in a upright position and gave her 75mcg of Levothyroxine & a albuterol breathing treatment. Maureen drank 6oz of water w/Thick It. 1
