  • 7:00AM - No change

  • 7:30AM - No change

  • Maureen began her day @ 8:00AM. She is good spirits. Congestion is somewhat heavy. We decided to give Maureen a saline solution treatment using the nebulizer. The diaper is light wet. Wednesday is bed bath day. Click/tap here for a detailed overview of the process Maya and I use each week.

  • 8:48AM - Saline solution treatment using the nebulizer.

  • Breakfast service began @ 9:00AM. Posture in the geri chair is very good. Maureen is listing a bit to the left. We used the two wedge pillows to straighten her posture. We also inserted the red velour couch pillow behind Maureen's head since it was tilting back too much to be in an optimal position to eat her breakfast. Click/tap here for detailed overview of the entire breakfast service process Maya and I use each day.

  • Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

  • General observations @ 9:41> Breakfast went well. The saline solution nebulizer treatment definitely helped. It materially reduced the congestion. Maureen coughed just three times and sneezed once. Engagement, communication and responsiveness are all good. Maureen kept her eyes open t/o the breakfast service. She did not fall asleep at all.

  • 9:55AM - Morning oral care routine

  • 10:05AM - We tilted the geri chair back one level for Maureen's comfort and to reduce the pressure/stress on her lower back.

  • 10:10AM - Morning facial treatment including hands and arms

  • 10:45AM - Organic fruit smoothie

  • 11:05AM - We headed to the bedroom for Rest Break #1. Diaper was light wet. After completing a clean & change, Maya and I placed Maureen on her right side.

  • 11:21AM - Rest Break #1 begins

  • 12:40PM - Rest Break #1 ends. Diaper is light wet. Maya and I completed a clean & change. We proceeded to prepare Maureen for a hair shampoo.

  • 1:00PM - Hair shampoo

  • 1:15PM - Styling

  • 1:20PM - Lunch | 1/2 a Jersey Mike's turkey & provolone sandwich on rosemary parmesan bread. Maureen consumed one 12-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water during the lunch service.

  • General observations @ 1:55PM> Lunch was a bit challenging. Maureen was restless/fidgety. As soon as we wrapped up the hair styling process, Maureen began to tilt somewhat significantly to the left. Her eyes were slightly closed at times. She appeared a bit congested. Coughing was well above normal—nine coughs and two of them were red faced. Maureen also sneezed three times during lunch.

  • 2:10PM - Afternoon oral care routine

  • 3:05PM - We headed to the bedroom to clean and change Maureen prior to Julie's visit. Diaper was medium wet. Upon completion, we headed to the front room for the remainder of the day.
