June 6 daytime update

  • 6:30AM - Maureen is going in and out of sleep.

  • 7:15AM - No change. Maureen continued to go in and out of sleep.

  • Maureen began her day @ 8:05AM. She is alert and engaged. Congestion is minimal. The diaper is medium wet. Click/tap here to view a detailed overview of the process Tom and I use to get Maureen ready for the day.

  • Breakfast service began @ 8:40AM. Posture in the geri chair is very good. We used the two green wedge pillows to straighten Maureen's posture. Click/tap here for detailed overview of the entire breakfast service process Tom and I use each day.

  • Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

  • 9:32AM - Morning oral care

  • General observations @ 9:41AM> Breakfast went well. Maureen's energy was good. She was engaged, responsive and communicative. Coughing activity was typical—four times. Maureen did not nod off at all during breakfast.

  • 9:45AM - Tom gave Maureen a dose of Flonase in each nostril.

  • 9:55AM - We tilted the geri chair back one notch for Maureen's general comfort and to relieve stress/pressure on her lower back.

  • 10:05AM - Morning facial routine including hands and arms.

  • 10:50AM - Organic fruit smoothie

  • 11:12AM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. Diaper was light wert. After completing a clean & change, Tom and I placed Maureen on her left side. We chose the left because Maureen's neck was crooked somewhat heavily to the right.

  • 11:27AM - Rest Break #1 begins.

  • 12:47PM - Rest Break #1 ends. Diaper was light wet. Maureen also had a small formed bowel movement. After completing a clean & change, Tom and I transported Maureen to the kitchen for lunch.

  • 1:12PM - Lunch | We strayed off the menu for lunch today. Maureen enjoyed 1/2 a gyros sandwich from Nick's Drive Inn. She also had small servings of french fries and mushrooms. Maureen drank one 12-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water. For dessert, Maureen had a small serving of rice pudding.

  • General observations @ 1:55PM> Lunch went well for the most part. Maureen continues to gave good energy. She did not doze off a single time. Coughing activity was normal—four times. There were no sneezes.

  • 2:28PM - We tilted the geri chair back one notch for Maureen's comfort and to relieve strain/pressure on her back.

  • 2:40PM - Afternoon oral care

  • 3:05PM - Joanna and Brian cleaned and changed Maureen. The diaper was medium wet.

  • 3:20PM - Afternoon fruit snack

-9:30am Maureen is awake, woke up trembling a little Tom calmed her & gave her a few swabs of water. We sat her up in a upright position & gave her 75mcg of Levothyroxine w/pear puree & she drank 6oz

 
 
 
Tuesday April 28,2026 Daytime Update

9:30AM - Maureen's on her left side, already awake. No signs of pain or any distress. Tom’s giving her water via swab. 9:40AM-We placed Maureen in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothy

 
 
 
Monday April 27th Daytime Summary

-9:30am Maureen was up earlier, Tom gave her a couple swabs of water. Maureen woke up @10am we positioned her in a upright position and gave her 75mcg of Levothyroxine w/applesauce. Maureen drank 6oz
