Wednesday September 6, 2023 Daytime update

• 6:30am Maureen’s asleep lying on her left side.

• 7:00am Maureen’s sleeping, she opened her eyes briefly and went back to sleep around 6:45.

• 7:30am Maureen’s still sleeping.

• 8:00am Maureen just opened her eyes, takING sips of water via swab.

• 8:15am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised her bed and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:25am Marianne and I started the day giving Maureen a full body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. Changed and cleaned a md wet diaper and applied Cavilon barrier and cream. No redness observed . Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:40am Maureen is enjoying an oatmeal/fruit smoothie, 6oz prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax and couple spoons of Greek yogurt. She coughed twice.

• Recline Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:10am Morning oral care.

• 9:20am Saline Neb treatment.

• 9:30am Facial routine.

• 9:45am Blood pressure: 108/60, P 62.

• 10:30am Maureen’s snoozing in the chair.

• 11:00am Maureen drank half cup of lemon water.

• 11:05am Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first break. Diaper was dry, positioned on her right at 11:15am.

• 12:10pm First break ends. Changed and cleaned a md wet diaper and continued to wash Maureen’s hair then transferred to the kitchen.

• 12:10pm First break ends. Diaper was md wet with a small formed bowel movement, changed and cleaned then continued to wash Maureen’s hair and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30pm Blow dry and styled Maureen’s hair.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Vegetables soup, egg salad, fresh tomato, a full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. Maureen did not cough.

• 1:15pm Oral care.

• 1:30pm Blood pressure: 120/80, P 60.

• Maureen‘s been alert and in good spirit ever since getting up from her first break. She made more pleasant our day with a few smiles and expressing some words.

• 2:00pm Maureen finished drinking her first cup of lemon water.

• 2:15pm Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second break. Changed and cleaned a md wet diaper and a very small formed bowel movement; positioned on her left at 2:30pm.

• 3:15pm Second break ends. Changed and cleaned a md wet diaper and a small formed bowel movement. Dressed and headed Maureen to the front room.

• 3:35pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear). She didn’t cough.

• 3:50pm Maureen finished drinking her second cup of lemon water.
