Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake, comfortably lying on her left side.


8:35AM - In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.


8:50AM - Me and Joanna started to wash Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes. Diaper was dry with slight clear vaginal discharge.We cleaned and changed her. Applied Nystatin powder on vaginal area. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing, and moved to the kitchen.


9:00AM - Breakfast - 8oz prine juice, Activia, oatmeal/fruit smoothie. Maureen had half a cup of lemon water as well. Coughed 2x.


9:30AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.


9:40AM - Oral care.


Facial and hand care routine followed.


10:00AM - Out for a walk.


11:00AM - Arrived home from a very nice walk - such a nice weather. Maureen was awake the entire time.

Maureen had half a cup of lemon water.


11:15AM - BP: 106/63, P: 73bpm


11:25AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, very light discharge present. We cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.


12:30PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.


**Barb arrived to visit Maureen.


12:40PM - Lunch was tuna salad, beets and bean soup. Maureen had a cup of sparkling water. Coughed 2x


1:25PM - Oral care.


**Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.


2:00PM - Maureen was awake the whole time while Barb was here and enjoyed the company.


2:30PM - Time for 2nd rest break, we moved Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet, discharges still present. We cleaned and changed her. Position to face her left side.


3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We proceed to dress Maureen and transferred to the front room.


3:45 - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
