Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake, calmly lying on her left side.

8:30AM - In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:45AM - We started to wash Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes, no redness/rashes on skin. Diaper was clean and dry. We cleaned her, applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.

8:55AM - Breakfast - 8oz prune juice, Activia, oatmeal/fruit smoothie. Coughed 2x. Maureen was able to cough out the phlegm by herself.

Had half a cup of lemon water.

9:35AM - Administered 2 tab 50mg Senna S (crushed) with Activia and 10mg of Loratadine.

9:45AM - Oral care.

Followed with facial and hand care routine.

9:55AM - We were out the door going for a walk.

10:55AM - Came back home from a nice walk. Maureen stayed awake the whole time.

11:00AM - Katie, RN arrived for the weekly nurse visit. Maureen's arm and leg circumference measures almost same as previous - 22cm and 33cm, respectively. lungs clear and stomach sounds were actively heard.

BP104/56, P: 92 bpm

11:25AM - Maureen had half a cup of lemon water. We moved her to the bedroom for the 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Position to face her right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and proceed to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch was chicken salad, fresh tomato, veggie soup and rice pudding for dessert. Maureen finished a cup of sparkling water. She ate well. Coughed once.

1:30PM - Oral care.

*Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

2:00PM - Maureen had half a cup of lemon water. Looking relaxed while sitting on her geri chair, listening to the music.

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd resr break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Position to face left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We finished dressing Maureen and transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time. (kiwi, pear and melon).
