Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake, very calm while lying on her left side. No signs of pain or distress observed.

8:30AM - In an upright position we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

Maureen coughed and with the use of suction machine we are able to take out the phlegm.

8:50AM - Me and Joanna started to wash Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes. No redness/rashes on skin. Diaper was clean and dry, no vaginal discharges. Finished dressing and moved to the kitchen.

9:00AM - Breakfast - oatmeal/fruit smoothie and yogurt. Maureen had 3/4 cup of lemon water. Maureen had multiple coughs and sneeze attack. Used suction machine 2x to assist on getting rid of the phlegm.

**Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

No MiraLAX today.

9:30AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

9:45AM - Oral care.

10:00AM - Neb treatment - saline soln.

10:15AM - Facial and hand care routine.

10:30AM - Maureen stayed awake while listening to her music - very relaxed while sitting on her chair.

11:00AM - Kelsie, RN and Meghan, the social worker arrived. Maureen's lungs were clear, active bowel sounds present.

11:30AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet with very small soft BM. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on thighs. We dressed and position her to face the right side.

12:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We proceed to dress Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch was chicken-veggie soup, guacamole, fresh tomato and crackers. Maureen finished a cup of sparkling water. Coughed 2x.

**Reclined geri chair one notch prior to lunch because Maureen leaning a bit forward.

1:20PM - Oral care.

1:50PM - Maureen had half a cup of lemon water.

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Position to face her left side.

3:40PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and proceed to the front room.

3:50PM - Half cup of lemon water prior to fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon).
