Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen lying on her left side, awake however, looked sleepy. No signs of pain or distress. Tom informed that she woke up around 7:00am and had sips of water via swab.


8:20AM - Maureen was sleeping in and out.


8:40AM - Maureen looking like she's ready to start her day. In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.


8:52AM - Me and Joanna started to wash Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes. No redness on skin. Diaper was dry with small clear vaginal discharge. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. Dressed and proceed to the kitchen.


9:05AM - Breakfast - 8oz prune juice with 1 cap of Miralax, oatmeal/fruit smoothie, and yogurt. Maureen finished 3/4 cup of lemon water. Coughed 2x.


MiraLAX dose today - 1 cap


9:30AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.


**Reclined geri chair one notch after for comfort.


9:40AM - Oral care.


9:45AM - Facial and hand care routine.


**Applied a pea-size of Triamcinolone Acetonide cream on the dorsal (back) left hand.


10:15AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap.


10:30AM - Carolyn arrived.


11:00AM - Nurse Anne and Nurse Kelsie arrived for the weekly nurse visit. Lung sounds - clear. Arm circumference - 23cm, leg circumference - 33cm.


T - 97.9

HR - 74

BP - 116/64


For bleeding - like menstrual period, aside from cleaning to make her comfortable - push more liquid/water/pedialite and give food that's rich in iron. Otherwise for heavy bleeding, call the nurse/s or 911 as advised.


11:45AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper is still dry, no vaginal discharges. Placed Maureen on her right side.


12:45PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet with large formed bowel movement. We cleaned and changed her, dressed and proceed to the kitchen.


12:55PM - Lunch chicken-veggie soup (blended), guacamole, fresh tomato and crackers. Maureen finished a cup of sparkling water. Ate very well, less cough. Coughed once.


**Reclined geri chair one notch prior to eating lunch for comfort.


1:45PM - Oral care.


2:30PM - Time for Maureen's 2nd rest break. Transferred to the bedroom. Diaper was clean and dry. Position to face her left side.


3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet with medium formed BM. We cleaned/dried and changed Maureen. Finished dressing and moved to the front room.


3:50PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon). She had sips of water before the fruit snack.

9:30AM - Maureen's on her left side, awake. Tom's givinf her sips of water via swab. 9:45AM - We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce. BP: 105/60,
