Wednesday, June 28 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is sleeping. She is laying on her left side.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is still sound asleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is waking up. She is calm and relaxed.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is fully awake now. We started the day by raising the bed and administering Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen's diaper was dry. We changed it. The sore spot on her sacrum area looks nice and healing well. It's still visible because the new skin is more pink . Dalia and I gave Maureen a full body bed bath. Applied Cavilon Barrier film on the sacrum and Cavilon cream on perineal area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00 am- Breakfast- Smoothie, 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax. No coughs. We reclined the chair during breakfast because Maureen was leaning forward .

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

• 9:30 am- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril.

• 9:40 am- Morning oral care.

• 9:45 am- Facial routine.

• 10:00am- Maureen is resting in the chair, her eyes are open, she is alert and engaging this morning.

• 11:00 am- Weekly visit with Ann Emberson, Maureen's RN. We transferred Maureen to bed. Ann saw the sore spot and noted that it is healing nicely , said that Maureen looks great! Lungs are clear. Vitals are good- T- 97.7; BP- 110/72; Pulse- 76. Dalia and I cleaned and changed a medium wet diaper.. Positioned Maureen on her right side at11:20 am.

• 12:20 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and proceeded with the hair wash. Headed to the kitchen after.

• 12:40 pm- Lunch- Chicken noodle soup, eggs salad, steamed Brussels sprouts, cup of lemon water. Chobani yogurt for dessert. Maureen coughed once. We reclined the chair during lunch, Maureen was leaning forward.

• 1:15 pm- Oral care.
