Wednesday June 17th Daytime Summary

-9:30am Maureen is asleep & appears comfortable.

-9:50am Maureen is awake, we sat her up in a upright position & she got 1 suction. We gave her 75mcg of Levothyroxine w/applesauce and is getting her albuterol breathing treatment. Waiting on Nurse Shelly to come & look at her left ankle. Shelly came & suggested we use the Triamcinolone Ointment for today & see if it lessens the color & size of site.

Maureen drank 6oz of water w/Thick-It. 2 coughs.

-10:30am Morning Care- we changed Maureen's diaper it was medium wet w/medium VD odorless and yellow. We applied sureprep to her sacrum area and cavilon between her inner thighs. We washed Maureen's upper extremities w/warm purple wipes & dressed her for the day. Applied the Triamcinolone Ointment to Maureen's left ankle.

-10:50am transferred Maureen into the living room. We gave Maureen 10mg of Loratadine and 20ml of cough syrup w/applesauce. Breakfast was a waffle w/jelly & diced kiwi. Maureen drank 8oz.of apple juice w/Thick-It. 2 suction's & 3 coughs w/meal.

-11:55am Oralcare & applied facial and hand cream to Maureen. Maureen is relaxing/resting watching TV(Toy Story movie).

-1:15pm afternoon snack, pureed minestrone soup w/Thick-It. (Maureen enjoyed the soup) 2 coughs & 2 suction's w/meal, very phelmy today & sneezing maybe allergies. Maureen finished 10oz.of lemon water w/Thick-It.

-2:00pm Maureen is having her albuterol breathing treatment.

-2:15pm transferred Maureen into the bedroom for afternoon rest break. We changed Maureen's diaper it was dry & positioned Maureen on her right side. 2 suction's.

-3:15pm starting Maureen's afternoon, Maureen is dry. We dressed her & transferred Maureen into the living room. We gave her a dish of banana bread & she finished 10oz.of coconut water w/Thick-It. Checked Maureen's diaper it was dry.

-4:15pm dinner pot roast w/veggies & diced beets. ),,,gave Maureen 5mg of OlanZapine, 20ml of cough syrup and 12.5mg of Vimpat w/applesauce. Maureen finished 10oz.of sparkling water w/Thick-It. 2coughs.

-5:20pm Oralcare

-5:45pm alot of sneezing & coughing w/2 suction's.

-6:00 transferred Maureen into the bedroom for bedtime. We changed Maureen's diaper it was heavy wet w/large VD odorless and yellow. We applied cavilon between her inner thighs. We washed Maureen's face and hands & applied lotion to her legs, feet, hands and face. We dressed Maureen for the night. We applied Triamcinolone Ointment to Maureen's left ankle. We positioned Maureen on her left side.
