Sunday, June 14 Daytime update

• 9:30 am- Maureen is sleeping. She is laying comfortably on her left side. No signs of pain or discomfort.

  Tom said that Maureen was awake for a while around 5 am, went back to sleep after.

• 9:45 am- Maureen is awake now.

• 10:00 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce. Maureen had 6 oz of thickened water.

  We did a nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

• 10:20 am- We started the day with changing a medium wet diaper. Cleaned, applied Sureprep barrier film and Cavilon cream.

  Maureen had a little rednes on her inner thighs and abdominal area, looking like a heat rash. Applied Nystatin powder.

  Washed Maureen’s upper body, dressed and transferred her to the recliner.

• 10:45 am- Breakfast- omelette, 10 oz of thickened orange juice. Maureen coughed twice. Suction machine was used.

• 11:15 am- Deacon Andy arrived in for Sunday service.

• 11:30 pm- Administered 20 ml of Geri Tussin with applesauce.

• 11:40 am- Morning oral care.

  Facial and hand care routine followed.

• 11:50 am- Maureen is listening to music and looking at a digital frame pictures .

• 12:30 pm- Maureen had 10 oz of thickened coconut water.

• 1:00 pm- Maureen had a fruit yogurt for a snack.

• 1:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned her on the right side.

• 2:30 pm- Maureen’s rest break ended. Her diaper was heavy wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred to the front room.

• 2:45 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment.

• 4:00 pm- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

• 4:30 pm- Maureen had 10 oz of thickened sparkling water.

• 5:00 pm- Dinner- grilled hot dog, potato salad, corn, 10 oz of root beer. Maureen coughed many times, suction machine was used.

• 5:40 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat, 20 ml of Geri Tussin and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.

• 6:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Her diaper was dry. We still changed it. There was a large VD spot on the diaper. Cleaned Maureen, applied Nystatin powder to the redness on her inner thighs. Applied Cavilon cream . Applied Cetaphil lotion on her face, hands, legs and feet. Positioned Maureen on her left side.
