Wednesday, April 26 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen was awake. She was twitching a little. Her pulse was 84 when I placed the oxymeter on.it went up to 110 but in a couple of minutes it was down to 60. Maureen seems restless, moving her legs and arms a lot.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep. She wakes up when she starts moving and is drifting off to sleep again.

• 8:00 am- Dalia and I repositioned Maureen on her left side. Her diaper was dry.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is awake. She has been calm since we repositioned her.

• 8:45 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I performed a full body bed bath. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. The redness is much better. There is a little darker spot on her sacrum , we are going to keep an eye on it. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

• 9:05 am- Administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen finished the 8 oz cup of prune juice mixed with water.

• 9:35 am- Breakfast- Delicious homemade buttermilk pancake with maple syrup , half a pear, cup of lemon water. Maureen is enjoying every bite of it! Maureen coughed twice.

• 10:00 am- Morning oral care.

• 10:05 am- Morning facial routine.

• 10:30 am- Maureen is relaxing in the recliner, closing her eyes at times. She's been very relaxed ever since we repositioned her in bed this morning. No signs of distress or discomfort.

• 11:00 am- Half a smoothie. Maureen did not cough.

• 11:30 am- We transferred Maureen to the bed. Her diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Discolored spot looks better. Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 11:45 am.

• 12:00 pm- Maureen is keeping her eyes closed most of the time. She looks sleepy.
