Sunday, May 24 Daytime update

• 9:30 am- Maureen is sleeping, comfortably laying on her left side. Tom said that she was awake around 5:00 am , then went back to sleep until 6:00 when she woke up and started coughing . Tom used the suction machine and she went back to sleep again.

• 10:00 am - Maureen is sleeping, but starting to move a little.

• 10:05 am- Maureen opened her eyes. She is calm and relaxed, no signs of distress.

• 10:15 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.

  Maureen finished 6 oz of thickened water with one squeezed tangerine in it.

• 10:30 am- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

• 10:40 am- We changed Maureen’s medium wet diaper. Cleaned her and applied Sureprep barrier film and Cavilon cream. Washed Maureen’s upper body, dressed her and transferred to the recliner.

• Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with applesauce.

• 10:55 pm- Breakfast- omelette, 10 oz of coconut water. Maureen coughed twice.

• 11:15 am- Deacon Andy came in for Sunday service.

• 11:50 am- Morning oral care. Facial and hand care routine followed.

• 12:30 pm- Maureen had 10 oz of thickened sparkling water. No coughs.

• 1:15 pm- Maureen enjoyed a fruit flavored yogurt and 6 oz of thickened water and squeezed tangerine in it. No coughs.

• 1:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her rest break. Her diaper was heavy wet and she had a XL soft bowel movement. We cleaned her thoroughly, changed and positioned her on the right side at 1:40 pm.

• 2:40 pm- Maureen’s rest break ended. Her diaper was dry. We dressed and transferred her to the recliner.

• 3:00 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment.
