Wednesday, April 19 Daytime update

  • 6:30 am- Maureen is asleep.

  • 7:00 am- Maureen remains asleep, but is moving often. She coughed four times.

  • 7:30 am- Maureen briefly opens her eyes at times, but goes back to sleep.

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

  • 8:15 - Maureen is waking up now.

  • 8:30am- Maureen is fully awake and ready to start the day. We raised the bed and administered the Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen had a few sips of water. Her diaper was heavy wet. Cleaned and changed, applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Dalia and I proceeded with giving Maureen a full body bed bath. There were a couple of new red spots on her left arm. We applied Hydrocortisone on the old and new spots. Washed her face with warm water only. Finished dressing and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:00 am- Breakfast- pancake with 1/3 of banana and maple syrup, 8 iz of prune juice mixed with water. One cough. Maureen finished her prune juice during breakfast.

  • 9:30 am- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril with apple sauce.

  • 9:35 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair after.

  • 9:40 am- Hand serum.

  • 10:00 am- Maureen is resting in the chair. She is not receptive to water, keeps holding it in her mouth . Maureen is coughing up some phlegm today.

  • 10:30 am- Half a smoothie. No coughs.

  • 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. Maureen will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:10 am.

  • 12:10 pm- First rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and proceeded with the hair wash. Transferred Maureen to the kitchen after.

  • 12:30 pm- Drying and styling Maureen's hair.

  • 12:35 pm- Lunch- Lentils soup, ham salad and steamed cauliflower, cup of water mixed with 1/4 of coconut water. Chocolate covered strawberrie for dessert. Maureen coughed three times during lunch. She is holding the water in her mouth more frequently and spills it out.

  • 1:15 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

  • 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was light wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:15 pm.

  • 3:15 pm- Second rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 3:30 pm- Fresh fruit snack. One cough.

  • 3:45 pm- Weekly visit with Ann Emberson, RN. We addressed Maureen's red spo. Ann took pictures to send to the doctor. He suggested steroids. Maureen's lungs are clear. BP- 124/68. T- 98.

Monday April 20,2026 Daytime Update

9:30AM - Maureen's on her left side, already awake. No signs of pain or any distress. Tom’s giving her sips of water via swabs. 9:35AM- We placed Maureen in an upright position and administered 75mcg

 
 
 
Sunday April 19th Daytime Summary

-9:30am Maureen is asleep -10:00am Maureen is awake, we changed her diaper she was medium wet w/medium VD odorless and cloudy. Applied sureprep to her sacrum area and cavilon between her inner thighs
