Monday April 20,2026 Daytime Update

9:30AM - Maureen's on her left side, already awake. No signs of pain or any distress. Tom’s giving her sips of water via swabs.


9:35AM- We placed Maureen in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with purée pear and she drink 6 oz of thickened cold water

Morning care. Wash her upper extremities with warm purple wipes. Diaper was heavy wet with Large VD cloudy odorless , Cleaned and changed her. Applied Sureprep barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on posterior and inner thighs. Also applied Nystatin above her hairline for redness. We dressed her and moved to the front room.


10:45AM- Shelly’s  visit lungs sounds are good, bowel’s sounds are present.

BP- 102/58 P- 61 Temp.- 98.5


11:10AM-Breakfast - waffle with butter and jelly , and kiwi, finished 8 oz thickened prune juice  with one cap Miralax. Maureen ate well. Coughed once suction

-Administered 10mg of Loratadine with purée pear and 20ml cough syrup (Geri-Tussin)with purée pear.

11:50- Giving her Neb treatment with albuterol.


12:00PM- Oral care

12:05 - Facial and hand care routine

12:15PM-  Maureen closed her eyes for a nap.


1:15PM - Maureen took 10oz of thickened sparkling water and had melon for as fruit snack.


2:15PM - We transferred her to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was heavy wet and Large soft BM , we  cleaned and changed, we position her to face the left side.

3:15PM- Rest break ended already. Diaper was dry. We dressed Maureen and moved to the front room.


3:25PM - Maureen had 10oz of thickened coconut water. Cough once suction.


4:00pm Sheryl is out the door, Maureen and I are watching some Family Feud when Kathy arrives.


4:10pm 2nd nebulizer treatment with albuterol and getting ready for dinner, Maureen’s dry.


4:30pm I warmed up some chicken parmigiana with noodles for dinner, 10 ounces of sparkling water with thickener in it.


6:00pm Dinner has been eaten, time for evening meds … 12.5ml VIMPAT, 1- 5mg tablet (crushed) of OLANZAPINE, 20ml Geri tussin.

Oral care followed immediately and then we transferred her to the bedroom.


6:20pm We cleaned and changed Maureen from a MEDIUM SOFT BM and medium wet diaper. After Cavilon lotion was applied to appropriate areas, Maureen was placed on her left side and propped up with the wedge pillows.


Evening vitals were …


Temperature is 98.6°

Blood oxygen is 97%

Pulse is 89
