Wednesday 11-5-25 Daytime summary

Maureen has been sleeping soundly after Luda left.

9:15 Maureen has started, stirring, so we opened up the blinds to promote her waking up.

9:30 Joanna , the back of the bed, give us Maureen a few swabs of water and administers the thyroid medication with a couple spoons of applesauce.

9:45 time for an albuterol treatment to help with the congestion that Maureen is having at times.

10:00 we cleaned and changed from a dry diaper, using the sure prep, no sting barrier film, Cavilon lotion and a fresh diaper. Now fully dressed, we transfer to the front room for breakfast.

10:20 Joanna prepares a waffle with butter and jelly, some sliced banana, 11 ounces of lemon water is accompanying the meal.

After breakfast was done, her LORATADINE was given with a little more applesauce.

10:30 Joanna performs cleanup and oral care, followed up immediately with facial care and arm/hand lotion … Maureen is relaxing while listening to some music television. She drank down another 8 ounces of coconut water.

LIQUID CONSUMPTION THUS FAR IS ABOUT 20 OUNCES.

11:45 first rest break of the day, Maureen is dry, so we set her on the right side, propped up by the wedge pillows.

12:30 we were planning to get Maureen up out of bed however she decided it was nap time. After napping until about 1 o’clock, we decided enough is enough. We got her up out of bed still dry, even though we tried all of the tricks, they didn’t work.

1:15 we are now sitting in the kitchen having lunch, some homemade soup that Joanna had made, shrimp salad and cut up tomatoes are on the menu today, 11 ounces of sparkling water is the drink with lunch. 1:45 cleaned up and oral care are done now, getting ready to take a little walk around the neighborhood.

2:45 we are back from our walk. Maureen is still dry, believe it or not.

Lying on her right side, propped up with the two wedge pillows Maureen is resting for the next 45 minutes or so

3:45 FINALLY, a medium wet diaper. Cleaned and changed, transferred to the front room for a fresh fruit snack, of watermelon and apple.
