Tuesday, Sept 23, 2025 Daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen sleeps soundly lying on her left side.

  • 8:30am Maureen is sleeping.

  • 9:00am About twenty minutes ago, Maureen woke up calmly and was receptive to sips of water via swab. Now we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 9:02am Saline Neb treatment.

  • 9:12am Tom and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper with a very small-yellowish vaginal discharge, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 9:30am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

  • 9:32am Blood pressure: 99/60.

    Pulse: 59

    O2: 93

  • 9:38am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, pouched egg with fresh pear, a few sips of coffee and 8oz prune juice with a full cap of MiraLAX. Maureen coughed four times, sneezed once and her nose was runny during breakfast, suction pump used.

  • 10:30am Oral care.

  • 10:40am Facial routine performed.

  • Maureen relaxed closing her eyes for about thirty minutes soon after her morning routine.

  • 11:45am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting period. Clean/change a medium wet diaper with a small-bright red bloody discharge, positioned on her right side.

  • 12:40pm First break ends. Clean/change a dry diaper with a medium-formed BM, dressed and headed Maureen to the patio for lunch.

  • Carolyn visits Maureen.

  • 1:00pm Lunch: Lentils soup (blended), chicken salad with avocado and 9oz sparkling water. Maureen coughed four times, sneezed a few more and her nose was runny during meal.

  • 2:15pm Oral care.

  • 2:35pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting period. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

  • 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/banana) with 9oz electrolyte drink.

  • Total liquids ingested: 37oz.
