Tuesday, Sept 16, 2025 Daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen sleeps peacefully lying on her left side.

  • 8:30am Maureen slightly opened her eyes going back to sleep soon after.

  • 9:00am Maureen’s awake, still sleepy though. She’s receptive to sips of water via swab.

  • 9:10am Maureen seems more awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 9:12am Blood pressure: 100/57.

    Pulse: 61

    O2: 93

  • 9:15am Saline Neb treatment.

  • 9:25am Marianne and I start giving Maureen an upper body bath, no redness observed. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:45am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

  • 9:47am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, pancake with syrup, pear and 8oz prune juice. Maureen coughed three times during breakfast, suction pump used once.

  • 10:10am Oral care and facial routine performed.

  • 10:20am We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood. She stayed alert all the way.

  • Maureen had 8oz electrolyte drink once home.

  • 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting period. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

  • 12:30pm First break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 12:45pm Lunch: Spinach soup (blended), Chicken Salad with fresh tomato, and 9oz lemon water. Maureen coughed four times and her nose was runny during meal.

  • 1:35pm Oral care.

  • After lunch Maureen relaxed back comfortably in the recliner closing her eyes for approximately twenty five minutes after a while.

  • 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, positioned on her right side.

  • 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) and 4oz lemon water.

  • Total liquids ingested: 38oz.
