Tuesday October 15, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen sleeps soundly.

• 8:30am Maureen woke up calmly 15 minutes ago, accepted sips of water via swab, and went back to sleep soon after.

• 9:00am Maureen’s sleeping.

• 9:15am Maureen’s awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:25am Merianne and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Diaper it’s dry and clear, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 9:45am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice with a full cap of Miralax, mandarin, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with a full activia yogurt. Coughed twice getting some phlegm out on her own.

• 10:00am Administered 10mg loratadine with smoothie.

• Daily Miralax dosage: full cap

• 10:30am Blood pressure: 110/62, P 60.

• 10:35am Oral care.

• 10:40am Saline and albuterol Neb treatment.

• Maureen had mild congestion getting up, however, it cleared significantly after the neb treatment.

• 11:05am Facial routine performed.

• 11:30am Maureen sits relaxed and awake while listening to her playlist. In the meantime, she had a cup of lemon water.

• 11:45am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a dry diaper with an Extra large-soft BM, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area, and then positioned on her right side. No vaginal discharge observed.

• 12:45pm First break ends. Diaper it’s dry and clear, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 1:00pm Lunch: Veggies soup, chicken salad with beets, and a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.

• 1:45pm Oral care.

• 2:20pm Maureen had 1/3 cup of lemon water.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper with very small amount of clear vaginal discharge, positioned on her left side.

• 3:35pm Second break ends. Diaper it’s dry and clear, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:50pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/apple/banana) and half cup of lemon water.
