Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Came in with Dalia sitting at bedside with an awake Maureen, laying on her left side.

8:20AM - Maureen was sleeping in and out.

8:50AM - In an upright position, we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:00AM - Started Maureen's day by washing her upper body with warmed purple wipes. Diaper was dry, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.

9:10AM - We started breakfast with 1/2 banana, 6oz prune juice. Maureen enjoyed her oatmeal/fruit smoothie mixed with flaxseed, had yogurt too. Coughed 2x.

9:30AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

9:40AM - Oral care.

9:45AM - Facial and hand care routine.

10:00AM - Went out for an outside walk. Taking advantage of the nice weather.

10:55AM - We arrived. Maureen enjoyed the walk and stayed awake the whole time. Had quarter a cup of water after.

11:06AM - BP: 100/65, 70

11:10AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Positioned to face her right side starting at 11:20am.

12:20PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was

dry. Transferred to the kitchen.

12:30PM - Lunch was half a piece of toasted bread, boiled egg and avocado, and brussel sprout soup. Maureen finished 12oz of sparkling water and had yogurt. No coughs.

**Reclined geri chair one notch prior to taking lunch due to Maureen leaning forward a little bit.

1:05PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen finished her 1st cup of lemon water. She's awake and comfortably sitting.

2:10PM - Time for Maureen's 2nd rest break. We transferred her to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet, and Maureen peed again while we were cleaning and changing her. Positioned to face her left side starting at 2:20pm.

3:20PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry. Finished dressing and transferred to the front room.

3:35PM - Maureen having her fruit snacks (melons) while comfortably sitting on her recliner watching her fave game shows.
