Tuesday, May 9 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake. She has been awake since 5:45.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still awake.

• 7:15 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is asleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is sleeping.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:45 am- Maureen is waking up now.

• 9:00 am- Maureen is awake . We raised the bed and administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:15 am- We started the day. Her diaper was medium wet. There was very minimal vaginal discharge. Joanna and I gave Maureen a full body bed bath. Applied Cavilon Barrier film on her sacrum area, Cavilon cream. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the Geri chair. Headed to the dining area.

• 9:40 am- Breakfast- Smoothie with 2 tbsp of oatmeal, 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed twice. She finished her prune juice before breakfast.

• 10:10 am- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril .

• 10:15 am- Morning oral care.

• 10:20 am- Facial routine.

• 10:45 am- Maureen is resting in the chair. She is closing her eyes at times.

• 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to bed for rest break #1. Diaper was medium wet. Joanna and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:15 am.

• 11:45 am- Maureen was moving her legs and arms a lot. We repositioned her on the left side for the rest of the break.

• 12:15 pm- First rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and proceeded with washing her hair. Transferred Maureen to Geri chair and headed to the dining area.

• 12:35 pm- Dried and styled Maureen's hair.

• 12:40 pm- Lunch- mushroom soup, crackers with hummus, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed once. She finished her water during lunch.

• 1:10 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to bed for rest break # 2. Diaper was medium wet. Vaginal discharge was very little. Joanna and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Second rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. There was no vaginal discharge. Joanna and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred to the recliner.

• 3:30 pm- Fresh fruit- pear and watermelon. Maureen coughed once.
