Tuesday, May 6, 2025 Daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen sleeps lying on her left side.

  • 8:30am Maureen’s soundly asleep.

  • 9:05am Maureen recently woke receptive to sips of water via swab. Now, we raise the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 9:10am Blood pressure: 100/60, P67.

  • 9:15am Merianne and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:35am Administered 10mg loratadine with apple sauce.

  • 9:37am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, scrambled egg with banana, and 6oz prune juice . She coughed twice.

  • No Miralax administered

  • 10:10am Oral care.

  • 10:15am Facial routine performed.

  • 10:25am We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood. She stay alert all the way. Back home, she had 7oz of lemon water.

  • 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

  • 12:30pm First break ends. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 12:45pm Lunch: Lentils soup, tuna salad with tomato, and 10oz coconut water. Maureen coughed three times during meal.

  • 1:40pm Oral care.

  • Maureen stayed well alert all the time after lunch. In the meantime, she drank 3oz of lemon water.

  • 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, positioned on her left side.

  • 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi), and 3oz ginger tea.

  • Total liquids ingested: 38oz.

9:30 AM - Maureen is still sleeping comfortably 10:00 AM - Maureen is stirring about a little bit, so I went in and gave her a little water via swab, not quite ready to move, but getting ready shortly
