Tuesday, May 14, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen is still sleeping, lying calmly on her left side.

8:20AM - Maureen woke up and still looking sleepy, we will give her more time before giving her the morning pill.

8:30AM - In an upright position, we administer 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:40AM - We started to wash Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes, no redness/rashes on skin observed. Diaper was dry and clean upon checking. We proceed to dress Maureen then, transferred to the kitchen.

8:50AM - Breakfast was 8oz of prune juice with 1 cap of MiraLAX, oatmeal/fruit smoothie and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. No coughs.

MiraLAX daily dose - 1 cap

9:20AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

9:40AM - Oral care followed by facial and hand care routine.

10:15AM - Sitting comfortably on recliner, arms relaxed while watching a Disney movie.

Maureen had an on/off nap while watching.

10:40AM - Carolyn came by to visit Maureen.

11:30AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet with small soft bowel movement. We cleaned and changed her then position to face her right side.

12:40PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was dry. We dressed Maureen then, proceed to the kitchen.

12:45PM - BP: 105/63, P: 68 bpm

Lunch was chicken soup with vegetables (potato, carrots, celery and sweet pepper) and crackers, a cup of coconut water and chocolate cake for dessert. Coughed once.

1:20PM - Oral care. **Reclined geri chair after for Maureen's comfort.

**Maureen was just listening to the 90s list of music - awake and looking relaxed.

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet with medium soft bowel movement. We cleaned thoroughly, dried and changed. Position to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. We dressed her then, transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
