Tuesday, March 7 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake. She is relaxed and calm . Tom was giving her sips of water via swab.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is closing her eyes for a few seconds at times, still very relaxed.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is awake.

• 8:15 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was dry. We washed her upper body . There was no redness observed. We dressed Maureen and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:27 am- Administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:30 am- Breakfast- oatmeal, banana, 6 oz of prune juice. Maureen coughed twice.

• 9:00 am-Administered Lisinopril with apple sauce.

• 9:05 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down one notch for her comfort.

• 9:15 am- Facial routine.

• Maureen is resting in the chair, closing her eyes from time to time.

• 10:15 am- Maureen finished her full cup of lemon water. She hasn't been drinking that much water since last week.

• 10:30 am- Half a smoothie. Two coughs.

• 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. There is still redness on her abdominal area. We washed, dried and applied Nystatin. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:15 am.

• 12:15 pm- Rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I performed a clean and change routine. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch- mushroom soup, tuna salad, steamed red beets, bottle of coconut water, cup of lemon water. Two coughs, sneezed once. We reclined Maureen's chair down because her head was leaning forward and down.

• 1:00 pm- Oral care.

• 1:30 pm- Maureen is relaxing. She just finished her second cup of lemon water. She hasn't been drinking that much water in a while.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was heavy wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Second rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:30 pm- Fresh fruit snack. No coughs.

• Maureen had low energy today. She was quiet and looked tired. No congestion. Minimal coughing snd sneezing. Being receptive to a lot of water was great!
