Tuesday, March 11, 2025 Daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen sleeps soundly lying on her left.

  • 8:30am Maureen’s waking up calmly, receptive to sips of water afterward.

  • 8:50am Maureen is awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8:55am Blood pressure: 102/63, P54.

  • 9:00am Merianne and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum and to healing redness by her left anal outer area, applied barrier cream to inner thighs. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:20am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

  • Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

  • 9:21am Breakfast starts with a 8oz of lemon water and some pear followed by soft scrambled egg with avocado and 8oz apple cider. Coughed three times, sneezed twice, runny nose afterwards. Suction pump used once.

  • No Miralax administered

  • 10:10am Oral care.

  • 10:20am Facial routine performed.

  • Maureen stayed alert the whole time after breakfast while listening to her playlist.

  • 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her right side.

  • 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

  • 12:45pm Lunch: Chicken noodle soup, potato chips, 12oz root beer, and baked apple. Maureen coughed and sneezed three times and her nose was running persistently throughout meal.

  • 1:30pm Oral care.

  • 1:40pm Saline Neb treatment.

  • 2:20 pm Maureen had 5oz of lemon water.

  • 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, positioned on her left side.

  • 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living area.

  • 3:50pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) and 1oz lemon water.

  • Total liquids intake: 34oz.
