Tuesday, June 25, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake, lying comfortably on her left side.

8:30AM - In an upright position, we administer 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:45AM - Me and Dalia started to wash Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes. No redness/rashes on skin observed. Diaper was clean and dry. We finished dressing Maureen then transferred to the kitchen.

9:00AM - Breakfast started with 6oz of prune juice with 1/2 cap of MiraLAX, oatmeal/fruit smoothie and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. Maureen also finished a cup of water. Coughed once.

MiraLAX daily dose - 1/2 cap

9:30AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

9:45AM - Oral care.

9:50AM - Facial and hand care routine.

10:30AM - Maureen is napping while watching "Almost Angels" from Disney+ channel.

11:20AM - Maureen took 1/2 cup of lemon water.

Maureen sounded better today, less coughing.

11:25AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Then, position to face her right side.

12:28PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We proceed to dress Maureen then, moved to the kitchen.

12:36PM - Lunch was tuna salad, beets and beets soup. She had peeled orange too. Coughed once.

1:15PM - Oral care. **Reclined geri chair one notch after for Maureen's comfort.

1:45PM - BP: 103/60, P: 66 bpm

2:15PM - Hands are relaxed while Maureen is sitting - awake while listening to the music.

**She had half a cup of lemon water.

2:30PM - It's time for Maureen's 2nd rest. We moved her to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her then, position to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed Maureen. Dressed her then, transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
