Tuesday, July 4 Daytime update

6:30 am- Maureen was awake with Tom by her side. He says Maureen had her eyes open and was calm and relaxed.
7:00 am- Maureen is asleep.
7:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.
8:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.
8:15 am- Maureen is awake now. We raised the bed and administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
8:20 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was dry but we changed it. Dalia and I cleaned Maureen, applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We washed Maureen's upper body. Dressed and transferred her to the wheelchair.
8:40 am- Maureen is outside and heading to the Niles 4th of July parade with Tom, Dalia, Luda and Luda's son Adrian.
10:40 am- Maureen, Tom and Dalia came back from the parade.
10:45 am- Breakfast- Smoothie, 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax. Maureen coughed once.
Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.
11:00 am- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril .
11:03 am- Morning oral care.
11:05 am- We transferred Maureen to bed. Her diaper was dry but we changed it . There was a little vaginal discharge. We cleaned and positioned Maureen on her right side starting at 11:15 am.
12:15 pm- First rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. There was very little vaginal discharge. Dalia and I cleaned, dressed and headed to the kitchen.
12:30 pm- Lunch- meatballs soup, shrimp salad, fresh tomatoe. Maureen will have half of Chobani yogurt and cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed twice.
1:00 pm- Oral care.
1:05 pm- Facial routine.
1:30 pm- Maureen is resting in the chair, listening to the music .
2:15 pm - We transferred Maureen to bed. Diaper was medium wet. There was no vaginal discharge this time. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:30 pm.
3:30 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. Dalia and I cleaned her. There was no discharge. We dressed and headed to the front room.
3:45 pm- Fresh watermelon snack. No coughs.
Maureen was tired in the morning, she looked better in the afternoon- quiet, but with her eyes wide open and even gave us a smile. She enjoyed Tommy's visit.
