Tuesday, July 18 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is sleeping.

• 6:45 am- Maureen opened her eyes for a few minutes, going back to sleep .

• 7:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 7:30 pm - Maureen is asleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:15 am- Maureen is waking up.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is awake now. Dalia and I raised the bed and administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:45 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was dry. Dalia and I changed it and applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We washed Maureen's upper body. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00 am- Breakfast- Smoothie, 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed twice.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

• 9:30 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down one level.

• 9:35 am- Facial routine.

• 10:15 am- Maureen is snoozing in the chair.

• 11:00 am-After snoozing for 10 minutes, Maureen has been wide awake and finished a full cup of lemon water.

• 11:20 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was light wet. Maureen had a loose bowel discharge that went to the front. Dalia and I cleaned her thoroughly, changed and positioned Maureen on her right side for an hour starting at 11:35 am.

• 12:35 pm- First rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was medium wet and she had a very small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:50 pm- Lunch- chicken noodle soup, baked cod fish, baked cabbage. Maureen will have a half a yogurt for dessert, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed three times, sneezed twice. She finished her water during lunch.

• 1:25 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 2:00 pm- Maureen is resting in the chair, finishing her third cup of lemon water for the day.

• 2:20 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Her diaper was medium wet and she had a very small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:35 pm.

• 3:35 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet and she had another very small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:55 pm- Fresh crenshaw melon snack .

• Maureen had a good day today. We saw a couple of smiles. She was quiet, but not tired or sleepy. She was very receptive to water, ate with a good energy.
