Tuesday, January 7, 2025 Daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen just woke, she’s receptive to sips of water via swab.

  • 8:40am Maureen’s awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8:45am Blood pressure: 108/62, p63.

  • 8:50am Our day starts giving Maureen an upper body bath, using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Diaper is dry and clear, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

  • 9:10am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice with a full cap of Miralax, poached egg with toast and pear, and activia yogurt. Coughed twice.

  • 9:25am Administered 10mg Loratadine and 100mg Colace with yogurt .

  • Daily Miralax dosage: 1 cap

  • 10:00am Oral care.

  • 10:10am Facial routine performed.

  • Maureen had a forty minutes nap, right after her morning routine. She drank 3/4 cup of water before going for her break.

  • 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break ends. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

  • 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper is dry and clear, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:45pm Lunch: Zucchini soup with guacamole, and a cup of coconut water. Coughed once.

  • Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

  • 1:30pm Oral care.

  • 2:20pm Maureen’s been smiling and in good spirits today. In the meantime, she had 2/3 cup of water.

  • 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting period. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area, then positioned on her left side.

  • 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 4:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon, pear, kiwi), and 1/4 cup of water.
