Tuesday, January 14, 2025 Daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen’s awake with Tom by her bedside, receptive to sips of water via swab.

  • 8:35am Maureen’s awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8:40am Blood pressure: 108/63, P 66.

  • 8:45am Merianne and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

  • 9:05am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice with a full cap of Miralax, sunnyside egg-well done with banana, activia yogurt, and half cup of water. Coughed three times.

  • 9:20am Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt.

  • Daily Miralax dosage: 1 cap

  • 10:00am Oral care.

  • 10:10am Facial routine performed.

  • Maureen napped for 30 minutes soon after her morning routine. She had half cup of water after.

  • 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper with a medium-soft BM, positioned on her right side.

  • 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:45pm Lunch: chicken and rice soup with guacamole, and a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.

  • 1:40pm Oral care.

  • 2:00pm Maureen sits relaxed and alert listening to her playlist.

  • Maureen had half cup of water.

  • 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper with a medium-soft BM, positioned on her left side.

  • 3:35pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 3:50pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (apple, banana, melon), and half cup of water.

9:00am Maureen is already awake with Tom by her bedside, receptive to sips of water via swab. 9:25am We raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce. 9:27am Blood pressure: 99/69.
