Tuesday, February 14 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake. Tom was giving her some water via swab.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is waking up.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is awake and alert enough to start the day. Her diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I performed a clean and change routine, applied 3 M prodcts. We washed Maureen's upper body, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:55 am- Administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:00 am- Valentine's Day breakfast put a smile on Maureen's face - homemade pancake with chocolate chips and banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. Two coughs, one sneeze.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.

• We reclined Maureen's chair down just before oral care because she was leaning forward.

• 9:30 am- Morning oral care.

• 9:40 am- Facial routine.

• 9:45 am-We used the Saline mist spray in Maureen's nostrils.

• 10:10 am- Maureen is snoozing in her chair.

• 10:40 am- Half a smoothie. Two coughs.

• 11:05 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for rest break #1. Her diaper was wet and she had an extra large extremely messy loose bowel movement. Diaper was full from her belly button in the front all the way towards her hips and back area. We cleaned Maureen thoroughly. Positioned her on the right side at 11:45 am.

• 12:45 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was light wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 1:00 pm- Lunch- Broccoli and cheddar soup, tuna salad, steamed cauliflower, bottle of coconut water, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed three times, sneezed once.

• 1:30 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair after.

• 1:40 pm- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for rest break #2. Diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Rest break #2 is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:30 pm- Fruit snack.

• Maureen was quite today. She was not congested. There were a few sneezes, but nose running was minimal.
