Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's awake and calmly lying on her left side.

8:20AM - Raised the bed up and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:35AM - We started Maureen's day by washing her upper body using warmed purple wipes with Aloe Vesta. Very light redness on right underarm, we applied thin coat of Nystatin. Diaper was dry, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. We finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.

8:40AM - Administered 50mg Senna S (crushed) with apple sauce. Maureen had a cup of lemon water as well.

8:50AM - Breakfast started with 8oz of prune juice, fruit/oatmeal smoothie with 2 prunes, and couple spoonfuls of yogurt. Maureen coughed once.

***Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort prior to breakfast.

9:15AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

9:25AM - Oral care.

9:30AM - Facial and hand care routine.

9:40AM - Maureen comfortably sitting on her chair watching The Jungle Book. She stayed awake the entire movie. **Lauren from Amada Senior Care came by to visit Maureen as well.

**Maureen trying to cough up her phlegm. Gave sips of lemon water.

11:15AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, she had an extra large formed bowel movement while cleaning her. We cleaned thoroughly and changed her. Position to face her right side starting at 11:30am.

12:25PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was dry, we proceed dressing Maureen then transferred to the kitchen.

12:35PM - Lunch was parm crisps with hummus, chicken/veggie soup and rice pudding for dessert. She finished one cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.

12:45PM - BP: 105/63, P: 68 bpm

12:50PM - Oral care.

1:30PM - Maureen's awake, hands relax while sitting on recliner.

2:30PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face her left side.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Dressed and transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon).
