Tuesday, December 6 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake. She is laying on her left side. The diaper is dry.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still awake. She takes some water via swab. Her diaper is still dry.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is closing her eyes from time to time.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep. Her diaper is dry.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is still not fully awake. Her diaper is wet now.

• 8:50 am- Maureen seems fully awake and alert enough to start the day. Her diaper was light wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied 3 M Cavilon products. Washed upper body with the warm purple wipes and Aloe Vesta. Finished dressing and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:14 -Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:15- Breakfast- oatmeal, banana, 8 oz of prune juice, cup of water. Maureen coughed 3 times.

• 9:44 am- Administered Lisinopril and Loratadine.

• 9:45 am- Morning oral care. Maureen's gum looks better, not as inflamed as it was yesterday.

• 9:55 am- We reclined Maureen's chair down one notch for her comfort. She was tilting on her left side, better when the chair is reclined. Her morning energy seems to fade . She is closing her eyes in the chair now.

• 10:15 am- Maureen is sleeping in the chair. She took a 20 minutes nap.

• 10:35 am- Smoothie time. One cough.

• 11:10 am - We headed to the bedroom for rest break # 1. Maureen's diaper was medium wet with a small soft bowel movment.During the cleaning process Maureen urinated. Dalia and I performed a clean and change. Maureen will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:30 am.

• 12:30 pm- Rest break # 1 ends. Maureen's diaper was dr. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:40 pm- Lunch- a bowl of lentil soup, chicken, avocado, a 12 oz bottle of coconut water, cup of water. One cough.

• 1:10 pm- Oral care.

• 1:15 pm - We reclined Maureen's chair down. She is quiet and her energy level is low today.

• 2:00 pm - We headed to the bedroom for the second rest break. Maureen’s diaper was wet . During the cleaning process Maureen urinated and had a large soft bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed. Maureen is laying on her left side for an hour starting at 2:20 pm.

• 3:20 pm- Rest breaks # 2 ends. Maureen's diaper is dry. We dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:40 pm- Fruit time. It's great to see Maureen full of energy again while she is enjoying the fruit.
