8:00am Maureen is sleepy, lying on her left with Tom by her bedside. He tells, Maureen’s been in and out of sleep since 7:15am.
8:30am Maureen’s still in and out of sleep.
9:00am Maureen’s awake, we have raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
9:10am Tom and I started the day by giving Maureen an upper body bath, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper with light brown vaginal discharge, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
9:30am Breakfast started with Fresh pear, coffee and half cup of lemon water.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.
10:00am Administered 1tbs Metamucil with 6oz coconut water, Maureen was refusing her smoothie with Metamucil in it yesterday.
10:15am Breakfast cont. with an oatmeal/fruit smoothie. Coughed twice.
10:25am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.
10:30 Administered 500mg METRONIDAZOLE with yogurt.
10:40am Oral care.
10:50am Facial routine performed.
11:10am We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood. She stayed alert all the way.
Back home, Maureen had half cup of lemon water.
11:45am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a light wet diaper, then positioned on her right side. No vaginal discharge observed.
12:45pm First break ends. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, no vaginal discharge observed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.
1:00pm Lunch: Sweetpeas soup, beef hotdog, guacamole, and a full cup of sparkling water. Coughed three times.
1:40pm Administered 500mg METRONIDAZOLE with yogurt.
1:50pm Oral care.
2:20pm Blood pressure: 100/65, P 61.
2:35pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her left side.
3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper it’s dry, dressed and headed to the living room.
3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) and half cup of water.
