Tuesday, April 15, 2025 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is lying on her left with Tom by her bedside. As per Tom, she recently woke and is now receptive to sips of water vía swab.

• Maureen’s in and out of sleeep.

• 9:00am Maureen’s awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:05am Blood pressure: 110/58, P59.

• 9:10am Merianne and I started the day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed,; right armfold healed completely.

  

• Clean/change a dry diaper with small-yellowish vaginal discharge, applied calazinc to labia and outer anal redness, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:30am Administered 10mg loratadine with apple sauce.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 9:32am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, scrambled egg, pear, and 8oz prune juice. Coughed three times, suction pump used.

• No Miralax administered

• 10:15am Saline and albuterol Neb treatment.

• 10:40am Oral care.

• 10:50am Facial routine performed.

• 11:00am Maureen seats alert while listening to her playlist.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Lentils soup, tuna salad, sweet potato, and 10oz sparkling water. Coughed three times, sneezed once and her nose was runny during meal.

• 1:35pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Dr Parise arrives to trim and file Maureen’s toe nails.

• Maureen stayed alert the whole time after meal, drinking 6oz of ginger water in the meantime.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper with a small-yellowish vaginal discharge, re-applied calazinc to redness spots, and then positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living area.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi), and 5oz ginger water.

• Total liquids ingested: 38oz.
