Tuesday, Apr. 16, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already wide awake, lying on her left side.

8:08AM - In an upright position, we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:20AM - We started to wash Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes. No redness/rashes on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet - we cleaned and changed Maureen. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.

8:30AM - Breakfast started with 8oz of prune juice with 1/2 cap of MiraLAX, oatmeal/fruit smoothie, and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. Maureen also finished a cup of lemon water. Coughed once.

MiraLAX dose - 1/2 cap

8:45AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

8:55AM - Oral care then facial and hand care routine followed.

9:10AM - Out for a walk.

9:50AM - Came back from a very good walk. Maureen enjoyed the sunshine and the breeze - stayed awake the entire time.

**Transferred Maureen to the geri chair - had 1/2 cup of lemon water. We are now watching a Disney movie in the front room.

10:30AM - Maureen was still awake but looking a lil bit sleepy.

11:00AM - Maureen had a quick 15min nap before we transferred her to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with medium soft bowel movement. We cleaned and changed her then position to face her right side.

12:15PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was dry, we finished dressing Maureen then, proceed to the kitchen.

12:25PM - Lunch was tuna salad, beets and sweet pea soup. Maureen had Italian ice for dessert and she finished a cup of coconut water. Maureen coughed once, used suction machine once to help take out phlegm.

1:10PM - Oral care. **Reclined geri chair after for Maureen's comfort.

2:30PM - We transfer Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with small soft bowel movement - we cleaned and changed then, position to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry - we dressed Maureen then, proceed to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time (banana and apple).
