8:00am Maureen is lying on her left with Tom by her side. She woke recently and is now receptive to sips of water via swab.
8:45am Maureen’s awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
8:50am Blood pressure: 103/60, P66.
8:55am Merianne and I started the day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs; applied Calazinc body shield to left labia fading redness. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
9:15am Administered 10mg loratadine with apple sauce.
9:17am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, blueberries muffin, pear, 3oz coffee, and 8oz prune juice. Coughed three times, suction pump used once. Maureen’s nose was runny during breakfast.
No Miralax administered
Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.
10:00am Oral care.
10:10am Facial routine performed.
Maureen stayed alert the rest of the morning, had 3oz of ginger water in the meantime.
11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.
12:30pm First break ends. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, dressed and headed to the kitchen.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.
12:45pm Lunch: Beans soup, chicken salad with fresh tomato, and 9oz coconut water. Maureen coughed twice and her nose was running during meal.
1:35pm Oral care.
1:50pm Saline Neb treatment.
2:20pm Maureen seats well alert listening to her playlist.
Maureen had 3oz ginger water.
2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, applied Calazinc to left labia fading redness, and then positioned on her left side.
3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living area.
3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) , and 2oz of ginger water.
Total liquids ingested: 37oz.
