Thursday September 26, 2026 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen’s awake with Tom by her bedside, she’s receptive to sips of water via swab.

• 8:30am Maureen’s sleeping.

• 8:50am Maureen’s awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:00am Joanna and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath, no redness observed. Clean/change a medium wet diaper with some yellowing traces of vaginal discharge, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area, and applied nystatin powder to vaginal redness after cleaning with cold damp washcloth. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:20am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice with a full cap of Miralax, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with a full activia yogurt and a cup of lemon water. Coughed twice.

• Daily Miralax dosage: full cap

• 9:30am Administered 10mg Loratadine and 1-4200mg cranberry with smoothie.

• 9:50am Oral care.

• 10:00am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• 10:10am We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood. She stayed awake the whole time.

• 11:10am Kelsie, RN arrives for Maureen’s weekly visit:

  Lungs are clear

  Temp: 98.2

  Pulse: 80

  BP: 105/58

  After consulting with the Doctor about bump on Maureen’s left hand, a topic cream was prescribed.

• Meaghan, SW also visited.

• 11:45pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper it’s dry, positioned on her right side.

• 12:45pm First break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper with slight trace of light yellow vaginal discharge. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 1:00pm Lunch: Chicken/rice/kale soup with guacamole, full cup of sparkling water and rice pudding for dessert. Coughed once.

• 1:45pm Oral care.

• 2:30:pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper and Extra large-formed BM, positioned on her left side. No vaginal discharge observed.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living area.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi).
