Thursday September 19, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen just opened her eyes, had sips of water and immediately went back to sleep.

• Maureen’s asleep.

• 9:00am Maureen’s waking up, still sleepy though.

• 9:20am Maureen’s awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:30am Joanna and I started the day by giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a medium wet diaper with slight trace of vaginal discharge, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:50am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with a full activia yogurt.

• 10:00am Administered 10mg Loratadine and 2-50mg Senna plus with smoothie.

• Daily Senna dosage: 2-50mg

• 10:15am Oral care.

• 10:25am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• 10:35am Blood pressure: 105/57, P 73.

• 10:40am We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood. Maureen is tired today, however, she stayed awake the whole way.

• Back home, Maureen had 2/3 cup of lemon water.

• 11:30am Tranferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper it’s dry, positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper it’s dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Rice, chicken and kale soup, tuna salad with beets, full cup of sparkling water, and rice pudding for dessert. Coughed and sneezed twice coughing out phlegm on her own.

• 1:40pm Oral care.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper and some vaginal discharge, applied a suppository, and positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper and an Extra large-half hard, half formed BM. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:50pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) with half cup of lemon water.
