Thursday, Sept 18, 2025 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen sleeps soundly lying on her left side.

• 8:30am Maureen is still asleep.

• 9:20am Maureen woke up twenty minutes ago with a slight twitching for about ten minutes. During this time, she was receptive to sips of water via swab and had no difficulty drinking.

• 9:25am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:27am Blood pressure: 103/59.

  O2: 93

• 9:32am Saline Neb treatment.

• 9:42am Joanna and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier film to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 10:00am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

• 10:02am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, pancake with yam and pear, and 8oz prune juice. Maureen coughed twice during meal, suction pump used once.

• 10:40am Oral care.

• 10:50am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• Shortly after her morning routine, Maureen took a thirty minutes nap.

• 11:55am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting period. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her right side.

• 12:55pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the front room.

• 1:15pm Lunch: Chicken and rice soup (blended) with avocado and 10oz coconut water. Maureen coughed four times and sneezed once, suction pump used.

• 2:00pm Oral care.

• Maureen ate well, however, she tired and sleepy afterwards.

• 2:38pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, inserted a suppository, and positioned on her right side.

• 3:35pm Second break ends. Clean/change a dry diaper with a large-formed BM, dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:50pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/apple) with 8oz electrolyte drink.

• Total liquids ingested: 35oz.
