8:00am Maureen’s asleep with Carolyn by her bedside. She’s been in and out of sleep since 7:15am.
8:30am Maureen is waking up.
8:50am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised her to an upside position to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
9:00am Joanna and I started the day by giving Maureen an upper body bath, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper with very small amount of blood (fading red), applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
9:20am Breakfast: 6oz V8 juice with a full cap of Miralax, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with a full Activia yogurt and a cup of lemon water. Coughed once.
Daily Miralax dosage: a full cap
9:35am Administered 10mg Loratadine and one stool softener with smoothie.
9:50 Oral care.
10:00am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.
10:10am We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood. She stayed awake all the way.
Back to Carolyn’s apartment, Maureen finished her first cup of lemon water.
11:05am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper it’s dry and clean, positioned on her right side.
12:15 We had to wake Maureen up after napping for 40 minutes, her break was extended because of that time. Clean/change a medium wet diaper with a tiny brown-blood spot. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
12:30pm Lunch: Shrimp salad with fresh tomato, a full cup of sparkling water and baked apple for dessert. Maureen coughed once during meal.
1:00pm Oral care.
1:15pm Transferred Maureen outside, her ride will be here at 1:30 to take her back home. “Vacations are over”, Big thanks to Carolyn for her hospitality! 🙏❤️
2:00pm Back home, Maureen had 1/4 cup of lemon water.
2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper with a tiny bright-red blood spot, positioned on her left side.
3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper it’s dry and clean, dressed and headed to the living room.
3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) with a couple sips of water.
