Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023 - Daytime Summary

8:00AM - Maureen calmly sleeping and lying on her left side. According to Dalia she was awake for an hour from 6:30am-7:30am, had sips of water via swab. She has been sleeping in and out after.

8:30AM - Maureen still looking sleepy. We will give her more time.

8:40AM - Maureen looking very much awake. In an upright position, we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:00AM - Started Maureen's day by washing her upper body with warmed purple wipes. Redness on skin observed on her right underarm, applied Nystatin. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then headed to the kitchen.

9:10AM - Breakfast started with 6oz prune juice with 1/4 cap MiraLAX, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 1tbsp flaxseed, yogurt. Maureen coughed 2x, sneezed once - used suction machine to aid in removing mucus.

Daily dose of MiraLAX - 1/4 cap

9:35AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt.

9:45AM - Oral care. Reclined geri chair one notch after.

9:55AM - Eye care routine. Followed by face and hand care routine thereafter.

10:30AM - Maureen was comfortably sitting, awake. Finished a cup of cold ginger tea.

10:50AM - BP: 105/65, 69

11:18AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned Maureen to face her right side starting at 11:25am.

12:25PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed. Transferred to the kitchen.

12:35PM - Lunch is tuna salad, beets, and potato & carrot soup. Finished her 12oz of sparkling water and had yogurt. Coughed once.

1:20PM - Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort. Oral care.

2:20PM - Time for Maureen's 2nd rest break, we transferred her to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet, Maureen peed while we were cleaning her. Positioned to face her left side starting at 2:30pm.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry. Finished dressing then transferred Maureen to the front room.

3:40PM - Maureen eating her fresh fruit snack (pear, kiwi, and pear) on recliner while watching TV.
