Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025 Daytime update

  • 9:00am Maureen’s already awake and receptive to sips of water via swab.

  • Carolyn and Coleen visit Maureen.

  • 9:25am Maureen seems to be ready for the day, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 9:27am Blood pressure: 100/58.

    Pulse: 63

    O2: 94

  • 9:30am Albuterol Neb treatment.

  • 9:42am Marianne and I started our day by giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, applied a thin layer of nystatin to slight redness by her right armpit. Clean/change a dry diaper, applied skin protective wipe to sacrum, Medline remedy cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen for breakfast.

  • 10:00am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

  • 10:02am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, scrambled egg with fresh pear, and 8oz of prune juice. Maureen coughed twice during meal.

  • 10:40am Oral care followed by eyes wash/drops and facial routine.

  • 10:50am We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood. Maureen stayed alert all the way.

  • Once home, Maureen had 7oz of electrolyte drink.

  • 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting period. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side. She closed her eyes for about 10 minutes.

  • 12:30pm First break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 12:45pm Lunch: Chicken and rice soup (blended) with avocado, and 9oz of sparkling water. Maureen coughed three times and sneezed twice during meal.

  • 1:30pm Oral care.

  • 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting period. Clea/change a medium wet diaper with a large-formed BM, positioned on her right side.

  • 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/apple) with 6oz of electrolyte drink.

  • Total liquids ingested: 39oz.
