Thursday, May 22,2025 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen sleeps soundly lying on her left side.

• 8:30am Maureen opened her eyes briefly and went back to sleep.

• 9:00am Maureen is still asleep.

• 9:30am Maureen is sound asleep, repositioned on her right.

• 9:50am Maureen calmly woke up and had sips of water via swab, now, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 10:00am Joanna and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness on her body, but her left eyelid is a little swollen, wiped with warm damp washcloth. Clean/change a dry diaper with a small-yellowish vaginal discharge, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the living area.

• 10:20am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

• 10:22am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, egg with avocado, and 5oz apple juice. Maureen coughed three times and her nose was runny, suction pump used successfully.

• No MiraLAX administered

• 10:50am Oral care.

• 10:55am Saline Neb treatment.

• Carolyn visits Maureen.

  
  

• 11:00am Kelsie, RN arrives for Maureen’s weekly visit:

Lungs are clear, but some phlegm sound was heard, and since Maureen’s been coughing phlegm

this morning, Kelsie and the family agreed on treating her with saline on a daily basis if needed.

Thigh circumference: 32 cm

Arm circumference: 21 cm

• Maureen seems phlegmy and tired today, she closed her eyes as soon as she was done with her usual routine.

• 11:35am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side. She closed her for about 40 minutes during rest.

• 12:20pm First break ends. Clean and clean/change a heavy wet diaper, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Deanna arrives to dye and trim Maureen’s hair.

• 12:40pm Lunch: Tuna salad with tomato, and 9oz sparkling water. She coughed twice and her nose was runny during meal and for a while after.

• 1:50pm Facial routine performed.

• 2:05pm Oral care.

• Maureen had 2oz lemon water.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting period. Diaper is dry, positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living area.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/apple/banana) and 2oz lemon water.

• Total liquids ingested: 27oz
