Thursday May 21,2026 Daytime Update

9:30AM - Maureen's on her left side, still sleeping.

9:50AM- Maureen is awake, very calm no signs of pain or any distress. Tom gave her zips of water via swabs.

We placed Maureen in an upright position administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce and  gave her Neb treatment with albuterol.

she drink 6 oz of thickened cold water.

10:15AM- Morning care. Wash her upper extremities with warm purple wipes. Diaper was medium wet with medium VD cloudy odorless , Cleaned and changed her. Applied Sureprep barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on her posterior and inner thighs.

We dressed her and moved to the front room.

10:40AM- Colleen and Carolyn came to visit Maureen.

10:45AM-Breakfast- scrambled egg with, tomatoes and onions and avocado. finished 8oz thickened prune juice with 1/2 cap of  miralax ,Maureen ate well.

A lot Coughed  twice suction.

Administered 10mg of Loratadine  and 20ml cough syrup (Geri-Tussin)all with apple sauce.

12:00PM- Oral care, Facial and hand care routine

12:10- Maureen is relaxing and listening music.

1:20PM - Maureen took 10oz of thickened flavored sparkling water and had strawberry and banana Yogurt for as snack. No cough

2:00PM - giving her Neb treatment with albuterol.

2:25PM- We transferred her to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was dry. We position her to face the right side.

3:25PM-  Rest break ended already. Diaper was dry, We dressed Maureen and moved to the front room.

3:45PM - Maureen had 10oz of thickened flavored coconut water.

4:15PM- diaper checked dry.

4:30PM - Dinner - Eggplant parm with pasta. Maureen finished her food and enjoyed eating. She finished 10oz thickened sparkling water. No cough

5:15PM- Administered 5mg of Olanzapine 12.5ml Vimpat and cough syrup 20ml (Gerri-Tussin) all with apple sauce.

6:10PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet and a Medium formed BM we cleaned and changed, applied Cavilon cream on posterior and inner thighs. Applied Cetaphil lotion on face, arms and legs. Position to face the left side with pillow in between legs and 2 wedges on the back.

6:25PM - Maureen's sleeping.

O2 - 97%

Liquid intake - 44oz

Note : a lot of Coughing this morning while she’s having her breakfast coz of Phlegm.
